Savi Tools

Availability Commitment

Last updated 2026-09-04

This page states the availability commitment for Savi Tools. It was approved on 2026-08-28 and it matches how the service is built and operated today. It is a service objective, not a refund-bearing service level agreement, and we would rather publish a number we can stand behind than a bigger one we cannot.

Service availability target

Savi Tools targets 99.5% monthly uptime per product, measured at the public endpoint, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance. 99.5% allows up to about 3.6 hours of downtime in a month, which reflects single-region cloud hosting without redundancy claims.

Data durability

The production database uses automated point-in-time backups (full backups plus write-ahead log) with at least 7-day retention. Customer files, such as receipt images, are stored in Microsoft Azure Blob storage. We make no cross-region durability claim.

Recovery objectives

Our Recovery Point Objective is 24 hours or less: a recoverable failure loses at most one day of data. Our Recovery Time Objective is one business day or less for service restoration from a recoverable failure.

Incident communication

We acknowledge service-affecting incidents to affected customers by email within one business day, and we send status updates until the incident is resolved.

Maintenance

Planned maintenance that risks downtime is performed outside U.S. business hours where practicable, and scheduled maintenance is announced in advance.
