Connect your AI assistant
Savi Tools can connect to the AI assistant you already use. Once connected, your assistant can answer questions about your business — invoices, expenses, mileage, clients, projects, time, and more — using your own data.
Which assistants work
Claude and Microsoft Copilot are fully supported today.
Other assistants that support custom connectors (also called MCP servers) may work too.
ChatGPT isn't supported yet — its connector has a known issue with custom servers like ours.
How to connect
- 1In Savi Tools, open Account settings and find the AI assistant section. Copy your Connector URL.
- 2In your assistant, add a custom connector (or MCP server) and paste the Connector URL.
- 3Sign in to Savi Tools when prompted, then approve the connection on the screen that follows.
- 4Ask your assistant a question about your business.
Try asking
- “Who still owes me money, and how old is the oldest unpaid invoice?”
- “What's my mileage tax deduction so far this year?”
- “How many contacts do I have, and what industries are they in?”
What your assistant can and can't do
Right now your assistant can only read your data. It can't add, change, or delete anything in your account.
Your data, your control
- Nothing connects without your approval. The approval screen shows which assistant is asking and where it will take you afterward.
- A connected assistant sees only your own account's data — never anyone else's.
- You can disconnect at any time from Account settings. The assistant loses access immediately.
Troubleshooting
If you see "connection request expired," start the connection again from your assistant — the request is only valid for a few minutes.
If your assistant gets stuck connecting, remove the connector on the assistant's side and add it again.
Savi Tools is also listed in the Smithery MCP directory.
